Boeing is the world's leading aerospace company and the largest manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircraft combined. Challenge

Boeing was in the early stages of a company wide finance transformation project which entailed consolidating to a smaller number of financial applications. Boeing had a partially implemented Forecasting application which required further development and would be used for forecasting in the interim. They also had several other Hyperion applications, Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase, that required ongoing support until the finance transformation project was completed.

Solution

We redesigned and completed the implementation of the Forecasting application, and provided ongoing support of all the Hyperion applications for over three years until the finance transformation project was completed and Boeing migrated to the new applications.

Results

Boeing mitigated the risk of not having adequate support for their legacy applications during their finance transformation project and were not burdened with staffing the support roles internally.
